Our Story

Rewriting the rules

We are a small team of French and South African passionate innovators who believe it’s time to shake up the water game, something that hasn’t changed much in 100years.

Drytong's first water recycling prototype alongside his founder and first engineer.

One of our early prototypes, Matt and Ruben.

The idea was born in 2024 in the Kalahari desert, South Africa.

«While reading a children’s book about water from the 1980s, I had a revelation: water can be recycled, and it’s the smartest way to protect this precious resource. Yet we ask kids to learn it while adults don’t practice it…

A few weeks later, I was crossing the Kalahari desert on a 32-hour road trip with a water engineer friend, on my way to see his new system turn abattoir wastewater into drinking-quality water, reused on site.
This is where my love affair with water began, along with a belief : everyone should have the freedom to become self-sufficient by reusing and purifying their own water. »
